Brian P. Zwarych

Mr. Zwarych is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. Mr. Zwarych holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in accounting from Pace University.

In 1996, Mr. Zwarych became a Principal of The Breakwater Group, LLC, a multi-faceted business advisory firm which provides a full range of financial and management consulting services for business and high-net worth individual clients.

In 1993, Mr. Zwarych joined Fund American Enterprises Holdings, Inc., the former parent company of Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, to assist with a corporate reorganization that resulted in the creation and spin-off of White River Corporation to the shareholders of Fund American. Mr. Zwarych became Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of White River, which became a separate publicly-traded investment holding company. While with White River he was responsible for all SEC filings and related accounting activities. Mr. Zwarych oversaw White River’s financial due diligence activities relating to acquisition candidates in various industries and was a key contributor in the process that resulted in the initial public offering of a subsidiary of White River, which provided technology to the insurance industry.

In 1989, Mr. Zwarych became Chief Financial Officer of Godwins International Holdings, Inc., one of the world’s largest employee benefit consulting organizations and a subsidiary of Frank B. Hall & Co., Inc. While with Godwins, Mr. Zwarych held executive board positions with the company’s domestic and international subsidiaries, where he actively participated in the turn-around of these operations. He was responsible for all aspects of the company’s finances, including overseeing the design and implementation of a worldwide computerized financial reporting and budgeting system. He was instrumental in the design and implementation of a comprehensive global incentive compensation plan for the senior management group. He was a key contributor to the company’s mergers and acquisition activities and led the due diligence process for several acquisition candidates.

Mr. Zwarych began his career in 1982, when he joined Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., a predecessor firm to KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, one of the world’s largest international accounting and consulting firms. While employed by KPMG he specialized in financial service clients, particularly in the thrift, banking and mortgage banking industries. Mr. Zwarych was a key member of the engagement team that was responsible for several mutual to stock conversions of regional thrift institutions and he developed an expertise regarding loan portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.
